rock + bird

i'm a girl. i go to college. my favorite things include, music, pasta, photography, and my pet bird. i enjoy deep conversations and overpriced coffee. it was my childhood dream to be eliza thornberry. it still kind of is. i fit the latte-drinking liberal new yorker stereotype almost to a tee. i love animals and nature. people tend not to respect either enough.

i don't know what i want to be when i grow up, and i'm okay with that.

oh gosh, i can’t believe someone actually asked me questions. 

2. my first love is someone very special. of course it matters. i don’t think anyone is the same after experiencing love for the first time. whether you’re better off or worse, you are always changed.

4. beauty is abstract. it’s never constant or tangible. it exists only in our mind, in how we see something.

6. as long as i can find my way eventually, i love getting lost. i’d like to be lost in a city, a forest, a book, a song.. in another person. as long as i’m not alone, i love being lost. it’s a reminder that there are things out there greater than myself.

8. a cruel person. i can’t stand boring people. life is too messy for us to be a carbon copy.
