i'm a girl. i go to college. my favorite things include, music, pasta, photography, and my pet bird. i enjoy deep conversations and overpriced coffee. it was my childhood dream to be eliza thornberry. it still kind of is. i fit the latte-drinking liberal new yorker stereotype almost to a tee. i love animals and nature. people tend not to respect either enough.

i don't know what i want to be when i grow up, and i'm okay with that.

Southern Cross above Phillip Island

Looking south from the coast of Phillip Island (140 km south of Melbourne) a bright meteor streaks the sky. The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds stand above the Indian Ocean. Canopus, the second brightest star in the night sky, is notable on the lower right and Achernar is even closer to the horizon on the lower left.
